This is the world that we live in. People are suffering everyday from depression, addictions, bullying, and other mental illnesses. People everyday take a blade to their wrist, only to leave physical remarks of the pain they are feeling. Someone commits suicide every forty seconds. Meaning about 2-3 people will have committed suicide by the time you are done reading this. This does not have to happen. We can do something. This is the official symbol for love, and showing that we care about each and every person in the world, no matter what they look like, who they are, or what they have done in their lives. Everyone deserves to be happy, and to live.

To Write Love On Her Arms is an organization that aids treatment for people with depression, addictions, and other mental illnesses. It also stands as a comfort for people suffering from these illnesses. My youth group chapter is raising money to donate to TWLOHA, because we believe that this organization is truly amazing.
